The CDRM Project aims at developing, testing and evaluating a newly developed approach to improve management and secondary prevention of type 2 diabetes.
The CDRM Study research will explore the impact of a computer-assisted diabetes risk management system, in combination with an electronic health record. The research will focus on analysing the effect on medical effectiveness, patients’ cardiovascular risk profiles and patients’ self-reported outcomes (e.g. health related quality of life). Furthermore, the impact of the intervention on process and utilisation of care, and patient knowledge and behaviour shall be under examination.
